What is Assistt?

The name assist was used because I felt you can assist in so many ways or you can be assisted in many ways too. The extra t stands for time. A lot of people think it stands for a teacher. I thought the one thing that people don’t like to do is waste time or people like to use their time wisely hence, the extra t. Originally, this homepage was created to have better communication with current and future ALTs inside and outside of Japan. But recently to my surprise it is growing into something more than that. More and more people are interested in the content. In the future, we plan more than ALT work but now, our focus is on the educational field helping to mentor young minds through English. It has always been my goal to help as many people as I can to understand the role of an ALT. As it beings to change, we must change and through this homepage, we can send it to you the fastest.
